This particular Customer was told by several other contractors that because the ceiling in the living room did not have any attic space it was not able to have recessed lighting installed. We were not only able to run the wiring and install the cans in the concealed ceiling but we were able to upgrade existing lighting in the room to the new LED style recessed lighting. The customer was very happy with the result and we will be doing more work for them in the near future.

Recessed lighting presents many benefits to homeowners and builders. For building and remodeling jobs in the home, the lighting scheme is an important facet. Illuminating the home can be both decorative and functional, and one of the most versatile lighting systems is recessed lighting.

Recessed lighting is energy efficient, operates on lower voltage than other lighting choices, can be installed virtually anywhere with a flat surface and electrical access, it can serve as accent lighting, it can provide general ambient lighting or it can even offer brighter task lighting within a work space such as the kitchen or office. The visible portion of the light casing is customizable to match any space, and because recessed lighting is installed flush against a flat surface, its appearance is discreet.
